I was born and raised in New York State where I graduated from Cornwall High School. From an early age, I was always interested in learning about how the mechanical and technological devices around me work; I would tinker with anything available. I began teaching myself Linux's Operating Systems and became extremely proficient with it. I then learned Ubuntu, a large Linux distribution. While still in high school, I co-founded a small automotive detailing business with a friend, a lucrative business, until we both left for college. I worked with my uncle at his automotive shop and it was there that I learned a few important skills for life. I eventually learned how to fix a mechanical system or motor with the right tools. I can be coached to improve on any process efficiently and I'm a quick learner. Perhaps most importantly, I have learned about myself emerging from these experiences with much different perspectives, understandings, and attitudes than I had expected.
I moved up to Boston to attend Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2010 in order to major in Industrial Design. It was there that my experiences began shaping my future. After reassessing what I felt necessary in order to achieve my goals, I decided to change my major to Business Management. I now enjoy my business analytic, economics, and entrepreneurship classes with grades which reflect positive feedback. I am very motivated and have always been advantageous to my employers because I utilized my logic. I enjoy making customers feel welcomed as I am very outgoing. I've become exceptionally proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer applications in general. Lastly, I hold great organizational skills and work exceedingly well delegating tasks in my brain. Over the past 2 years, I have realized that I am a natural leader; when assigned group projects, I always end up in charge.
